Chambliss Wins Georgia

Published by eclecticbird at 11:23 pm under Republican Edit This

Hush my little lefties it is my blog and if I want to say that a Republican winning an election is good news then I’m allowed.  While I don’t actually care overmuch who won that actual election I am happy that they’ve finally decided who the winner is.  I mean really it’s been a month, it’s about time.

Now before anyone spoils my happy moment complaining about a republican (you know who you are) just remember the happy news isn’t that he won it is that someone finally won.  Silver lining and all that…rainbow in the middle of the flood…

I won’t use your blog as a place to highlight the complete and utter horror that is Saxby Chambliss, but I will point out that it was a runoff election with a fixed date. Unlike the Minnesota Senate race, which may not be decided for quite some time.

While I won’t cheer for Chambliss, oh well, just about ever, I am happy that they (finally) wrapped this up.
