McCain on Letterman

Published by eclecticbird at 2:41 pm under John McCain Edit This

Letterman is harsh and McCain came off looking like a well….I’ll let you watch it and decide for yourself.  I will say I can’t believe McCain thought it would be a good idea to go to Letterman after pissing him off. Wouldn’t it be fun to get all of the candidates on the Letterman show and let him moderate?

Ahhh but y’see McCain got to mention his prisoner of war experience, military wives, Vets, repeat a few things from the previous night’s debate AND mention again Obama’s link with terrorism. All-in-all it wasn’t bad PR. Dave Letterman is a wily fox though, he kept tight hold of that leash and brought home a few points.

I think the best part was John McCain almost committing Sarah Palin t0 be on the show.

You had to know Letterman was gonna slam him hard… McCain in my opinion just looked old. Like, 72 years old, or something…

You know who does look younger than McCain? Bob Barr.

And Barr, Chairman of the Marijuan Policy Project, wouldn’t have been such a damn buzz-kill, either.

    :)

@skw, it would be seriously difficult to find someone who looked older than John McCain. :) Repub voters need to seriously assess their VP choice as a P cos this election process is aging McCain faster than milk turns sour in the sun! If he had had as tough a time of getting the nomination as Obama had, I wonder if he’d of had the energy to last this long.
