A Female Presidential Candidate

Published by eclecticbird at 10:52 pm under Green Party Edit This

Although Hillary didn’t make it as the Democratic nominee that doesn’t mean a woman can’t make it to the White House this year.  Cynthia McKinney, a former southern congresswoman, is the official Green Party candidate.

Fast Facts about Cynthia McKinney

  • Fifty-three years old
  • Former Democrat
  • Served six terms in the House of Representatives

Her veep is going to be Rosa Clemente.  Soooo not only one chick but two could be in the White House this fall.  That would be cool, in theory anyway.  Take a listen to her speech from yesterday.

I’ll have to do a bit more research but I can’t say she made me want to vote for her.  Heck, didn’t really make me want to find out more about her or the Green Party, but I’ll do the research for my faithful readers (later….)

What do you know about the Green Party?  Like it?  Love it?  What Green Party?
