Obama Bump
Wow. My tag does say commentary on the crazy world of politics so here goes. The Obama bump. Or the Obama fist bump, or daps, or knuckle bump, or who in the world cares what his domestic policy is let’s scrutinize his bump technique. I was surfing CNN for the who/what of politics and the bump article caught my eye. Why? Because I had no idea what in the world they were talking about. Without going into too many details I will admit that I was curious so I clicked, read and watched a video about the “Obama bump”. And then I proceeded to laugh. I guess I think it is funny because I’ve seen that gesture for years and years and I couldn’t believe it made national headlines. Who cares? The only reason I care is because I think it is hilarious that anyone (hello main stream out of touch media, I’m talking to you) thinks that it is unusual enough to put on the top news stories of CNN. I don’t see stories about people shaking hands and really that’s all it is. OHHHHH did you see so and so, he shook someones hand. Oh my God Becky look at that handshake (if you got that reference and didn’t laugh, shame on you) Anywho for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing what all of the fuss is about I’m going to add the video of the ‘famous’ Obama bump for you to enjoy as well.
Does this rate on your top ten reasons to/not to vote for Obama? Is this the coverage you expect from CNN and other ‘big’ news agencies? (of course you expect someone like me to blog about it but what about the hot shots?)
